“Research for a life without cancer" - that is our mission at the German Cancer Research Center. We research how cancer develops, identify cancer risk factors and look for new strategies to prevent people from developing cancer. We develop new methods with which tumors can be diagnosed more precisely and cancer patients can be treated more successfully. As part of the administration/technical infrastructure/ we support the science of the DKFZ and create the best possible framework conditions for successful research and its transfer through our expertise.
